Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add walnuts and cranberries to the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, oil, and egg.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just blended.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, toast the walnuts before adding.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
