- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, egg noodles, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or bell peppers.
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
