Ingredients

  • 2 slices of ciabatta bread
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini press or skillet.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer mozzarella, tomato, and basil on the un-oiled side of one slice.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the layers.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, oiled side facing out.
  6. Place the sandwich in the panini press or skillet. Cook until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat and slice in half. Serve warm.
